The Perfect Couple

Cross Coupling Catalysis Application

This newly designed, convenient reference guide identifies optimal catalysts for a wide range of coupling reactions. Includes relevant literature references and catalyst handling and storage recommendations.

Johnson Matthey introduces a new series of highly active, air-stable, ferrocenylphosphine-based coupling catalysts.  These low palladium metal catalysts have shown excellent results in challenging coupling chemistry. Click here to view.

Boronic AcidsAn updated 36-page Boronic Acids technical document, which outlines the chemical properties and highlights the main synthetic uses of boronic acids and related chemicals, is available from Alfa Aesar.

The discovery of a wealth of new chemistry, in particular the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction, combined with their accessibility and ease of handling, have established boronic acids and boronates among the most frequently encountered of intermediates.

The new publication discusses the properties and applications of boronic acids and the related chemistry. The book also includes a listing of the Alfa Aesar range of boronic acids, boronic esters, oxazaborolidine reagents, coupling and hydroboration catalysts, phosphine ligands and boronylation reagents.  To  view, click here.
