New Developments in Palladium Catalyzed ?-arylation.

Palladium CatalystsJohnson Matthey has recently identified (DtBPF) PdCl2 and (DtBPF)PdB2 as exceptional candidates for a-arylation of various ketones with a variety of aryl chlorides and aryl bromides.

These catalysts are commercially available from JM give excellent yield and selectivity are air stable perform with mild reaction conditions demonstrate minimal Pd leaching
